Thank you to Angela G.\u00a0 for pointing out that ‘front’ is a ‘false friend’: ‘le front’ in French means ‘the forehead’ and ‘front’ in my Concise<\/em> Oxford English Dictionary lists 17 different meanings, perhaps the most usual meaning is the opposite of ‘back’.<\/p>\n
