Commiserations to all those caught up in, or scared by, the riots. Although there is no excuse for looting or, much more importantly, burning people out of their homes and businesses, I got to pondering on what has created this\u00a0appalling hatred and anger. Although it’s not likely that the average thug will be thinking: ‘I say! It’s rotten that the FTSE index is gaining on the pound’, he or she will be able to recognize a smug fat cat when they see one. Or is just sheer plain greed and thuggery on their part?
