Nous ne terrassons pas les dragons les un apr\u00e8s les autres, proc\u00e9dant dans l&#8217;ordre chronologique vers l&#8217;accomplissement final.<\/p>\n<p>La voie emprunt\u00e9e par le mystique n&#8217;est pas un cercle, un circuit ferm\u00e9 et d\u00e9sesp\u00e9rant qui nous oblige \u00e0 revivre encore et encore les m\u00eames exp\u00e9riences.<\/p>\n<p>En fait, la voie emprunt\u00e9e par le mystique est une spirale: circulaire, mais avec des perspectives changeantes. Dans une spirale, nous pouvons revisiter des sc\u00e8nes du pass\u00e9, confronter de vieux dragons. We do not slay dragons one after the other, proceeding in a clear chronological line towards fulfilment.<\/p>\n<p>Neither is the mystic way a circle, a despairing and closed circuit in which we return again and again to the same experiences.<\/p>\n<p>Rather the way of the mystic is the spiral way &#8211; circular, but with ever-changing vistas. On the spiral way, we may visit old scenes, grapple with old dragons.
