Try not to confuse fielleux, -euse/mielleux, -euse as they have almost opposite meanings:

‘Fielleux, -euse’ is venomous, spiteful and ‘mielleux, -euse’ is honeyed, smooth(-tongued), sugary or sickly sweet.

P.S. ‘Le fiel’ is gall and ‘le miel’ is honey.
