Mules and mice

Don’t confuse ‘un mulet’ (a mule) with ‘un mulot’ (a field mouse). Or ‘un hochet’ (a rattle) with ‘un hoquet’ (a hiccup). The phrase ‘prendre la mouche’ (lit. to take the fly) means ‘to get huffy’.
