The Author

I was born in Suffolk, not all that many years ago (and no, I do not remember rationing). After a chequered career (I started at the bottom and worked my way down) I retired with relief, and spend my days travelling in France (when my high-powered commitments allow me the time), eating French food and reading French novels. I have been described as a Francophile.
