Définitif

Définitif, -ive :

This translates as ‘definitive’ rather than ‘definite’ and the translations of ‘en définitif’ I feel are worth noting, as I have been using them a lot recently so, with luck, they will cease to trip me up in translations:

En définitive : eventually, in fact, when all is said and done.

Taken from Collins-Robert dictionary.
